Mustique Private Jet Charter Service

Trusted Mustique Jet Charter Service Since 2005
If you’ve always wondered what Mustique, the Caribbean playground of the rich and famous, looks like, Paramount Business Jets can arrange flights to take you there to find out. The planes will transport you on a short flight to the swanky 3.5 sq. mile chunk of volcanic rock from Grantley Adams International (BGI) airport on Barbados or Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) on St. Lucia. It’s a half-hour from St. Lucia and 45 minutes from Barbados. And when you touch down on the small airstrip at the private airport owned by the Mustique Company, the same shareholding cooperative that owns the rest of the island, you might just be welcomed by a tropical bird or two. You see, the Mustique Airport (MQS) is in the middle of a bird sanctuary. You’ll need a valid passport and travel documents upon arrival. There are visa restrictions on visitors from China, The Dominican Republic, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Nigeria and Syria. Once you land, you’ll find the weather perfect. No need for air conditioning in the Grenadines’ breezes. For information on flights and planes available from Paramount Business Jets, call, toll-free, +1-(877) 727-2538.

Musqitue Island Overview
Mustique is where Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge holiday regularly, including their pre-Prince George honeymoon.
It’s where a rare photo of Princess Margaret in a whale-boned bathing suit was taken at the 50th birthday celebration of Mustique’s owner, Colin Christopher Paget Tennant, the 3rd Baron Glenconner.
It’s where Carole Middleton, the royal mother-in-law, had her 60th birthday party.
It’s where the likes of Mick Jagger, Tommy Hilfiger, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Northern Ireland Secretary Shaun Woodward and publisher Felix Dennis own villas. And, Mustique is where stars like Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez rent places.
And, it’s where, if you are lucky enough to pass the island’s screening process and rich enough (villas can cost $20,000 a week) you can visit to relax and rub elbows with royalty and celebrities.
Glenconner bought the 1,400-acre island in 1958 for 45,000 pounds or about $126,000 U.S. He told the Daily Mail in 2009 that his wife, Lady Anne, told him he was mad to buy an undeveloped island. But he told her that wintering there would be cheaper than heating their Peebleshire castle.
In 1960, he gave his good friend, Princess Margaret a 10-acre plot as a wedding present. Then, he hired his father-in-law, British theater set designer Oliver Messel to design her home, Les Jolies Eaux, and other extravagant villas. It put Mustique on the map as a private retreat where royals and celebrities could play in secret.
Mustique is owned and managed as a cooperative by its “shareholders,” those who own villas on the island’s 120 exclusive plots.
There are only two hotels, the 17-room Cotton House, a converted cotton warehouse, and the five-room Firefly Mustique. There are only a handful of restaurants and shops. Beaches ring the island and although there are no golf courses, there are golf carts available for getting around. Visitors can play tennis, ride horses or go diving and snorkeling.
Mustique cares for its environment as much as it cares for its human guests with conservation efforts aimed at protecting its Hawksbill and Leatherback turtles and restoring the coral reefs that surround the island. Large swaths of land remain undeveloped for the wildlife.
New data from a study of the ultra rich – those with at least 30 million in assets – found they are increasing sinking their money in mansions around the world. Mustique earned the list’s top spot in the Caribbean.
