The Bell 230 is a twin-engine light utility helicopter designed and manufactured by Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. of the USA. The Bell 230 is a development of the Bell 222 with two Allison 250-C30-G2 turboshaft engines plus other upgraded features including optional skid or wheel undercarriage. The Bell 230 could accommodate up to 8 passengers, including one or two pilots, with six passenger seats fitted to the rear cabin. Production ceased in 1995 with 38 having been built, being superseded by the upgraded stretched, more powerful Bell 430.
