Paramount Business Jets Accreditations
Paramount Business Jets has established a strong reputation as one of the most trustworthy names in the private jet brokering industry. Here’s a little bit about the companies and industry bodies we work with.
ARGUS International
ARGUS International is the aviation industry's leading independent safety auditor, and its Certified Charter Broker designation is the highest tier a brokerage can hold. Unlike ARGUS Registered brokers, who simply submit paperwork and an annual pledge, ARGUS Certified brokers like Paramount Business Jets undergo a full on-site audit every two years covering our financial stability, operational practices, and regulatory compliance.
That same rigor carries through to every flight we book. Every operator we use must meet an ARGUS Gold minimum rating, verified through a live pre-departure TripCHEQ. This matters more than it might sound: roughly 73% of charter operators worldwide don't clear ARGUS Gold. Booking with PBJ means every aircraft you fly on has already cleared a bar most of the industry hasn't.
WYVERN
WYVERN runs one of the two major independent safety intelligence platforms in private aviation, and its Wingman Standard is widely regarded as the gold standard in air charter vetting. As an authorized WYVERN broker, Paramount Business Jets pulls a Wingman-standard PASS (Pilot and Aircraft Safety Survey) report on every flight we book, not just on request. That report is trip-specific: it verifies the exact aircraft by tail number, confirms current crew training and flight-hour currency, and checks maintenance and insurance status for that date and route, before you ever board.
Paired with our ARGUS TripCHEQ, this means every PBJ flight clears two independent, trip-level safety checks, on top of standard FAA oversight, before departure.
Inc. 5000
Paramount Business Jets is a four-time Inc. 5000 honoree, ranked among America's fastest-growing private companies in 2013, 2014, 2018, and 2022. Inc. 5000 recognition is based strictly on verified revenue growth, making it one of the few accolades in this industry that can't be bought or nominated for; a company either grows fast enough to qualify, or it doesn't. Four appearances across two decades reflects sustained performance, not a single good year.
Luxury Lifestyle Awards
Paramount Business Jets has been named a Luxury Lifestyle Awards winner in the Private Jet Charter Service category. Luxury Lifestyle Awards evaluates brands across more than 100 countries and 400 specialized categories each year, assessing reputation, client feedback, and competitive positioning. Recognition places PBJ among a small group of aviation companies worldwide judged to meet that standard.
Modern Luxury WASH — Best of the City
In Modern Luxury's WASH magazine, DC's 2026 Best of the City feature named Paramount Business Jets Best Private Aviation in the Washington, D.C. metro area. As a company headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia, this recognition reflects our standing not just nationally but in our own backyard, among the region's most discerning luxury readers and editors.
Eagle Excellence Award
In 2012, PBJ founder and CEO Richard Zaher was personally honored with the Eagle Excellence Award by his alma mater, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, presented at that year's NBAA convention in recognition of his contributions to the aviation industry. It's an individual honor for Richard, not a corporate certification, but it speaks to the same standards of excellence and integrity that shape how PBJ operates today.
Air Charter Association of North America (ACANA) — Past Leadership
Richard Zaher previously served as President and Chairman of the Air Charter Association of North America (ACANA), the nonprofit trade association that set ethics, transparency, and best-practice standards across the North American air charter industry. In that role, he and the board worked directly with the U.S. Department of Transportation to help draft DOT New Rule 295, a federal regulation establishing mandatory transparency standards for air charter brokers, the same standard of transparency PBJ has applied to its own pricing since 2010.
The Air Charter Association
The Air Charter Association is the world's leading trade association for air charter, founded in 1949 (originally as the Baltic Air Charter Association) with a mission to raise professional standards across the industry. As a member, PBJ has access to best-practice guidance and specialized training to keep our brokers current on evolving industry standards.
Better Business Bureau (BBB)
Paramount Business Jets holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, the organization's highest grade. BBB accreditation reflects a sustained, verifiable track record of honest advertising, responsive customer service, and marketplace trust, standards PBJ has maintained since our founding in 2005. That same trust shows up in how clients rate us directly: 4.9 stars on Trustpilot and 5.0 stars on Google, across nearly 400 independently verified reviews. Read what clients say in their own words on our testimonials page.
National Business Aviation Association (NBAA)
Founded in 1947, the NBAA represents more than 11,000 companies and offers over 100 products and services to the business aviation industry. Its annual convention is the largest civil aviation trade show in the world. PBJ's membership connects us to the organizations and professionals setting the direction of the industry, from safety standards to environmental policy.
European Business Aviation Association (EBAA)
Based in Brussels, the EBAA represents more than 715 member companies across Europe and is the continent's leading voice for business aviation safety standards. PBJ's membership extends our vetting network and operator relationships beyond North America, supporting the international charters we arrange for clients traveling to and from Europe.
Dun & Bradstreet (D&B)
D&B is the world's leading provider of business data and analytics, and its ratings are widely used to verify a company's financial stability and operational credibility. PBJ's D&B rating provides an independent, third-party benchmark of our business standing, separate from anything we say about ourselves.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU)
Founded in 1925, ERAU has produced more than 137,000 aviation alumni, including PBJ founder and CEO Richard Zaher. Since 2015, PBJ has funded an annual scholarship at ERAU, and has hired ERAU interns to help build and maintain the databases behind our site. It's one of the ways we invest in the next generation of aviation talent, not just our own business.
