More about the Lineage 1000E

When considering the finest private jets in existence, it is necessary to consider the scope of their capacity. Whilst many can create a luxurious high-end product capable of whisking a handful of passengers across the globe, recreating this same impeccable quality on a much larger scale sometimes becomes problematic as designers struggle to maintain the elite allure of a smaller jet when spread across a much larger, more conventional space. How do you maintain the aura of discreet privacy when cabins are capable of packing in (in theory) over a hundred flyers? The Lineage 1000E has answered that question.

Key Features of the Lineage 1000E

Overall, as you would expect from the name, the Lineage 1000E follows the blueprints of its predecessor. It sheds weight where it isn’t needed though – literally. An extra 500lbs has been dropped since the previous model allowing for increased range, with the aircraft now capable of carrying 19 passengers comfortably. There is no danger of this leading to the feel of a commercial aircraft, however. With five separate cabins, the privacy that is such a fundamental appeal of such jets is maintained.

Everything is slicker, from the stone veneer finishing to the 48-inch TV in the third cabin. Technology can be seamlessly integrated into every part of the jet. Televisions and Blu-ray players permeate the aircraft whilst iPad docks and Apple TV capabilities let passengers bring their multimedia on board effortlessly. There’s even a lighting system controlled by your iPad. Real technology enthusiasts will be impressed to hear about Honeywell’s Primus Epic avionics that can come equipped with HUD, EVS and Autoland capabilities that enable the plane to fly itself through the approach, touch-down and rollout procedure.

On a purely aesthetic level, the aircraft is something to marvel at. The refined cream and mahogany that protrude across the exterior also grace the gorgeous interiors. The seats are simplistic but tasteful, again remaining true to the color scheme with subtle mahogany lines draping over the headrests. From the cutlery to the polished tables finished with gold rims, the Lineage 1000E really does look the finished article.

Capabilities of the Lineage 1000E

With four passengers, the Lineage 1000E can fly non-stop to New York from London, Lima from Los Angeles.

The Lineage 1000E has a slower normal cruising speed compared to some of the ultra long range jets, but its spacious interior guarantees a more comfortable and relaxed journey. It has the lowest cabin altitude in its class, of 7,000 feet, even at the aircraft’s maximum operating altitude of 41,000 feet.
